About Me
Hello I'm Mairlely  a graphic designer with a minor in psychology, which strengthens my understanding of human behavior, communication, and visual storytelling. I approach design with creativity, empathy, and intention, creating work that reflects both my personal perspective and a thoughtful commitment to meaningful visual. As a proud Mexican American and first-generation college graduate, I bring curiosity, resilience, and identity into every project I create. My work focuses on illustration, layout design, and motion graphics, with a passion for transforming ideas into visuals that feel both expressive and purposeful. Guided by concept and composition, I pay close attention to detail while creating designs that are engaging, clear, and emotionally impactful. Beyond digital design, I enjoy hands-on creative work such as drawing, floral bouquet creation, centerpiece arrangements, and decorative balloon styling. These artistic practices continue to influence my sense of craftsmanship, balance, and visual harmony, shaping the thoughtful and detail-oriented approach present throughout my work.

Design Experience
I worked for a year at Crescent Magazine in Southern Connecticut State University, I design and structure magazine spreads, ensuring visual consistency and strong readability across pages. I work closely with writers, photographers, and editors to translate stories into cohesive layouts through typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
